Spring Break: Week 1

Saturday ended the first week of Spring Break and I only have 1 to go. Terina is back at Rainbow School and she is doing GREAT! She's using the potty there and hasn't had any accidents yet. Well.... she woke up from a nap yesterday and didn't get up so she just pooped her undies on her mat. Other than pooping her pants she was great! But back to week 1.... We didn't really do much. We potty trained, played outside, went for a car ride, played outside, saw the new Target, played outside, cleaned the house, played outside... well, you can see a pattern. We spent a lot of time outside playing. Kasala wrote some papers and worked on projects and Terina and I slept in. :) It was great. Last Sunday Frank and the young adults from the Samoan Ward came to Laie and did a fireside. It was amazing! It was a musical fireside and it was so nice. Terina even sat through the whole thing. Don't ask me what it was about but the feeling I had that night is still in me. Just thinking about it makes me tear up! Anyways... Terina had a lot of fun and she ran around with Frank's friends after which was nice for me to just kick back for a while. Here's Terina and Mele before we walked back home after the fireside. Terina and I went out to dinner with some friends. We drove to to Foodland in Sunset and got dinner from the deli hahahah. Great dinner and great car ride. I've come to realize that I have some pretty awesome friends out here. I really didn't want to come and I secluded myself a lot when I got here but the families that live in my building and some of the other buildings, for the most part, are pretty great. I love them and I love their children. These families are people that I can trust and people that I can rely on when I need them and I hope they know that they can also rely on us. This past week helped me realize how blessed we are to be here in Laie at the same time as these people who I have met. This is how we get ready for church on Sundays' Lovely huh.....
