Well... we made it back to Laie in one piece. We all had a great time in Washington and it was hard for Terina to leave. We did so many fun things while at home and Terina especially had a blast. She spent tons of time with her cousins and with her Grandma and Grandpa.
We did some really great things while at home. We went with the girls to the zoo and they rode the camel and the carousel about 500 times. Kasala took a bunch of pictures and the girls had a great time seeing all the animals with Grandpa and Grandma.
We also had our family reunion. There wasn't a ton of people there but it was still nice to see some of my cousins and their kids. It was nice to see Grandma too. She's getting so old. I can't believe that she'll be 90 in April. I'm glad that we'll be home to celebrate her big birthday with her. (Hopefully we'll be home)
Terina went home with Anthony and Phebe after the reunion. Kasala and I had no idea what to do while she was gone. We ended up going to Walmart and then back home. I think I even went to bed early. We didn't know what to do so we ended up driving to Richland a day early to spend time with the girls and to see Terina. It was quite sad that we couldn't occupy ourselves for 2 days with out Terina.
After coming back to Tacoma we spent a couple days taking Grandma Millar to appointments and we visited Uncle Mike one day too. I set up his computer and internet for him in his room and he seemed much happier about being in the nursing home.
The very last thing that we did was take Terina to Northwest Trek. SHE LOVED IT!! The animals were walking so close to the tram. Her favorite animal was the skunk! We had to look all over the park until we found it :) After seeing all the animals we went out to lunch then back home to start packing and cleaning up.
It was a great trip home and Kasala had a ton of fun with Jake, Anthony and Dad. Someday I'll post a picture or two but for now... my words will have to do.
