The Last to Go

This weekend our family is celebrating the very last wedding in the Muai family. Mike is getting married on Saturday and everyone is in Tacoma right now getting ready for all the craziness...everyone but Kasala and I.It kind of sucks that we aren't able to be there to celebrate with everyone else. I'm pretty sure that this is going to be a big wedding because it's the last. My parents really know how to throw a party too :) All of my brothers have had at least 250-300 people show up at their receptions....give or take a few. The food is ALWAYS something that is talked about. I'm really sad that I'm not there to help my mom out. I did get the go with her to pick out lei's while she was here in Hawaii...so I guess I did help out a little... not much but a little. I was able to spend some time with Mike and Hilary when they came to Hawaii in the summer. He seemed so happy with her. We dropped them off for a hike, they took us out to dinner, we went to the swap meet, and Terina and I drove back and forth to town with them several times so they could use the car. I was thankful that he made time to see us and to spend some time with Terina. As Saturday approaches I find myself wishing more than ever that I could be home with my family; that I could be there when they are married and spend time with my family. I wish Mike and Hilary all the happiness in the world as they get closer to becoming an eternal family. Hopefully he knows how much I love him and how I wish I were there to give him a hug and say congratulations.
