The last post I STARTED sometime at the end of December. I guess I got a little distracted. But now we're here.... in Washington.... freezing. The transition from Hawaii to Washington has been a little hard on all of us in our own way.
Terina misses Rainbow School, TVA and all her friends. It was such a blessing to live in TVA and have all of our friends close. Terina always had someone to play with. She grew up so much there and learned how to interact with other kids. At least 4 or 5 times a week she'll ask when we're going back to Hawaii and she'll tell me how she misses her friends. As soon as she starts school I'm sure she'll make friends again. It's just harder now that her friends don't live within walking distance and that I can't just send her out and KNOW she'll make it to where she needs to go.
I'm really missing the warmth. Not only the warmth of the sun but also the warmth of the people I lived around. I miss my "Mommy Mafia" crew and just sitting out at the park chattin it up about anything and everything. I laughed all the time about the dumbest things. I learned so much about myself out there about what is really important in life. I miss having people just "drop by" with food and goodies :) and I miss taking "right out of the oven" treats upstairs, next door, or across the street. I miss my girls, I miss the walks, I miss going to the Temple everyday just to hang out.
Even though I miss all these things I'm starting to realize that I need to make where ever I am my happy place. Tacoma Washington is no Laie Hawaii by far.... but there are wonderful people here. I just need to get to know people again! Hopefully one day soon we'll be able to get back to Hawaii before all of our friends graduate and move away.

Oh I hear you on this post! I miss you too!
Just know that I am never moving away! EVER. So when you're ready to visit, come on down and we will...
go to the N building Playground everyday and let the kids play, like we live there and own the place! haha!
and then go to PCC and tease all the dancers and act like tourist... but never pay full price.. maybe we can try sneaking in on the tram or something... with all the kids... that will be fun (or we'll get rained on! haha!)
and we'll go and eat everything you've been missing!
and if you come close to a holiday, lets go and crash 12th wards parties and at like we belong and eat all their food.. and bring nothing! haha!
Now im really excited for you to come down.. let me know! LOL!
