Halloween Festivities

Halloween was a really long this year. Or at least it felt like it. Terina was Snow White. We used the dress up outfit that she got in Disneyland this past summer. She was beautiful :) Terina had a Halloween party on Tuesday before Halloween. She came home with a painted face and some little craft things. Then her class had a party on Friday. Because the public schools are closed now on Friday I spent the day at Rainbow School helping with her party. It was a lot of fun. They had face painting, tattoos and a play production come to their school that day. I watched Terina pass out her treat bags to all her classmates and play with her friends. She had so much fun and loves her teacher and class. I took off during nap time and headed home to take a nap of my own.
That night one of our friends that use to live in the building called to see if we wanted to go out with them. Of course we did and off we headed to Turtle Bay for their Halloween events. It was pretty neat... and free. They had bouncers, and tattoos, food and a haunted barn. The kids all got to pick a pumpkin to take home. It was pretty low key and the kids had fun watching the horses run around and stuff. Terina had a lot of friends there. It seemed like every time I turned around some little kid was calling her name and running up to her. She has more friends than me!
After Turtle Bay we headed to BYU. Their activity was pretty lame so we didn't stay long.
On Halloween the TVA Resident Advisors put on a little party. It was a pretty good little party and was able to support Kasala in his job. He spent the whole party spray coloring little kids hairs. After that it was off to Trunk or Treat for our ward. Terina ran around from car to car collecting candy and eating it when I wasn't looking. Kasala spent the evening passing out candy.
As soon as it got dark it was off to Trick or Treat. It was the first time we took Terina out to the community to trick or treat. We hit the faculity town houses and then the infamous Moana Street. I couldn't believe how many people were out trick or treating! At some houses you had to wait in line to get your candy treat.
It was a lot of fun and Terina had fun with her friends. Now we just need to get rid of all this candy she got.
