Happy Thanksgiving!!

Today was our first Thanksgiving with just the 3 of us.... or so I thought it was going to be.... Kasala didn't want to eat turkey and good thing because I didn't really want to cook one! We, or he, decided that the best thing to do would be to BBQ outside. Lucky for us it was a beautiful day outside. Terina and Kasala did the BBQ while I spent the morning on my hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor. It really needed it. I cleaned the house and paid no attention the cooks outside. It was kind of refreshing to not have to worry about where Terina was. I could just do my thing. Before the food was finished Terina and I ran to the store to pick up some last minute items that we really didn't need. When I got back Kasala informed me that we were going to have company. I ran inside and tried to clean the rest of the house. We cleaned off the table and moved it outside, cleaned the bathroom and moved everything from the family room into the closet which I then covered with the curtains. I was in a pinch... I had no choice. Our friend came over with all their food and we had a great Thanksgiving meal. I know there was some turkey on the table but I don't think anyone ate it. Anyways... it was good food, great company and a cruise day.I tried to put Terina down for a nap after we ate but she INSISTED on sleeping outside. So we brought her tent out for her to sleep in... and I guess Jay needed a nap too. She didn't last to long in there with Jay. Later in the evening we went to see Blind Side. I think it was just too much for Terina. She and I spent most of the movie out in the hall or walking back and forth to the restroom. I was pretty upset. I really wanted to watch the movie but Terina just wasn't having it. I guess that's what I get.... I never did put her down for a nap. It was a good movie though.... or the parts I saw. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving today and I was so glad to share it with such great friends. I can't wait to get home though for the Christmas holiday and spend some time with my family.

The boys got the rugby ball stuck up in the tree. After they FINALLY got the ball down... it ended up right back in the tree. At least they didn't break a window..... AGAIN
