Heading Towards Retirement

For the last year or so Kasala has been "urging" me to throw away my slippers. They don't look great but these shoes have walked hundreds, maybe even thousands, of miles with me! I bought these slippers from American Eagle when we drove to April conference with Pa'aga and Sai in 2005. They were the shoes I went home from the hospital in after having Terina. They carried me through student teaching and then a move across the ocean. They may not look pretty but I think it's time to retire them. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS.... I can't find any other slippers that I really like. I bought a pair of Roxy ones and paid way to much for them only to have them break about a month later. My other pair of faithful slippers also have to go. I got them right after giving birth to Terina. Actually.... about 3 days after coming home from the hospital Kasala left for Washington D.C. His cousin was getting married and because I wasn't due until the very end of May we had made arrangements for him to attend and spend some time with his family. He brought me back these slippers and they too have served my feet just as much as my AE ones have. Now what am I going to do with no slippers in Hawaii? Better get those taxes done so I can afford a new pair of slippers :)
