After walking through the villages once I thought we were going home but Terina had other plans... another boat ride. She ran to the canoe landing and sat down. The canoe pusher just kind of laughed because we were back. But we got on the boat and did it all over again. I wish I could say that the day ended well but Terina started to freak out because I didn't have any money to buy her a hat. We'll just say that we promptly left and she went home and went to bed. I really tried to make it a fun day for her but it didn't end well. We did have fun though.... for a while.

One of the things that we are trying to work on this year is taking Terina out more and doing things as a family. Sometimes Kasala has to work on Saturdays so its just me and Rena. Saturday there was a Hula Festival at PCC and since we have an annual pass and get in free I decided to take Terina. I really thought that she would like it but it was kind of boring. She wouldn't sit, she ran around, she was messing with all the seats and I was about ready to lose it! So we left the theater and went out side to eat. Then Terina wanted to go on a boat ride. I knew that Kasala has taken her on boat rides a lot and how much she loved them so that's what we did! We took a ride down to the Hawaiian Village and walked slowly back. We stopped in Tahiti to fish and Terina actually caught something! Right after she put her pole in the water she had a fish on her line! I had no idea what to do either so the worker came to help us out. All the other kids were kind of jealous because Terina caught something and they had been trying.
