Playing Catch Up

Here are some random pictures from when Mom and Dad were here. I kept forgetting to update the blog but we had a ton of fun with Mom and Dad here. Terina especially. Anyways... it's random and not everything we did but uploading has been taking forever. We didn't go to PCC for the day but we did make it to the night show. Mom and Dad didn't really like the new show and Terina doesn't like it as much as Horizons but we figured it was something to do.
Terina wanted to go on a horse ride for her birthday so we went to Gunstock Ranch and she had her ride. Mom and Dad took her while Kasala and I were across the street at Melekahana state park cooking and waiting for her friends to show up. Dad said she talked the WHOLE time to the guy who was walking her around.
She LOVED it and keeps asking to go on another ride. I think next time we'll go to Turtle Bay. They take the horses on to the beach :)
I don't remember if I posted pictures of Terina's Tehamata performance but she did so good. She was a little shy but she loves dancing. Now if I can only remember to take her to her classes on Thursdays.
She was a little nervous I think. I was surprised at how full the auditorium was for the performance. Even though she was scared she had a ton of fun.... you just can't see it in her face
Terina had 4 friends at her little BBQ and because I'm super spacey I didn't take any pictures of the 5 of them together. But Tanaya, Vaea and Terina had fun playing games after swimming. A few days after Terina's BBQ Vaea moved to Utah so it was kind of a good bye to Vaea too. We miss him!!
Here's Rena after we got her ready. Sala is in my primary class and even though she's 6 Terina is almost as tall as her! Terina followed her around the room until some of her little friends showed up.
And of course she had to have a picture with Grandma. We were so happy that Grandma could come a few days before Rena's birthday to see her dance performance. It made it all the more special.
We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa here. Terina loves them so much and I could see how much she misses our family back in Washington. Soon enough though we'll be back and she'll want to come back to Hawaii. We love it here but we know that our time is almost done here.
