Just Call Me Betty Bargin

Today I decided that we were going to drive around and look at yard sales. BYU has a lot of them. Most of the time it isn't anything good but I still like to look. There were a couple in Laie with not much to offer. We drove North Shore and stopped at one that looked like it might be alright. The way we do yard sales is that I drive. I get out and look. I CALL Kasala who is in the car and tell him what is there. And then HE decided what I should buy. It's a flawed system. Very flawed. Anyways, this yard sale on North Shore produced 2 brand new pairs of Vans just Kasala's size. Van's retail for about 39.99-49.99. I got both pair fo 20 bucks! I thought it was a pretty good deal. So now, on top of the 2 pairs of shorts and 4 shirts I got him for his birthday, he has 2 new pairs of shoes. We kepts going to Wal Mart and drove past the military base hoping to see some signs for a yard sale. We didn't and so on to Wal Mart. We were almost there when I saw some more signs and popped a U turn to go check them out. Out of the 4 that we stopped at only 1 of them was any good. I'm so proud of my purchase! I found a 400.00 Jucie Couture purse that was still in the duster and that hadn't been used yet. I was really scared to ask for the price but did anyways. I got this purse for 50 bucks! I thought it was a good deal! I've been wanting a really really nice black, leather purse for a long time but knew that it was completely out of our budget. I walked back to the car crossing my fingers that Kasala would let me have it. (Obviously he did because I already said I bought it) But I was really happy! Now... If only I had money to put in the purse and some where to go besides Foodland.
