My Eternal Family

When we visited Emma and Tabitha in Richland, Terina went to Primary for the first time. She was the visitor and they sang to her. She was so captivated by the microphone that she kept trying to go up and talk in it... so Jill, the Primary President, let her be one of the spotlights for the day. Anyways, during singing time they were working on the song My Eternal Family. Now, I'm the pianist in our primary but I don't sing at home. I play the songs and Terina makes up some words and we call it good. But that Sunday she learned the whole 1st verse to the song. She walks around now singing it and it makes my heart melt every time. We just filed the last of Kasala's immigration papers last week. Part of the evidence I was going to provide was our sealing certificate. I found it in the filing cabinet along with a little certificate that said, "This was how big my hand was when I got sealed to my family." Phebe had traced Terina's hand on this piece of paper and it was just beautiful. When Terina gets a little older I'm sure she'll understand the importance of this song along with her other favorite, I Love to See the Temple. She sings these two songs all the time without even realizing what she is singing. I'm looking forward to the day when she's just a little older when I can show her the dress she wore, her little hand print and pictures of "our" temple. And I'm really glad that she'll always have a special connection to Phebe and that they can share the memory of our family being sealed together with each other.
