A New Outlook

The past week or so I have had time to do a lot of thinking. There was an incident that happened that really made me step back and look at my life. It gave me a lot of things to think about and to figure out. I haven't even began to scratch the surface either. I've been praying for a better attitude; something that I really need. Ask anyone who has known me for a really long time and they'd agree. Anyways, Wednesday my dad called and told me that he had booked plane tickets for Terina and I to come home again. At first I was a little worried. I had just been home and was not really wanting to go back but it was a done deal. So from Wednesday on I have had a prayer in my heart for a positive attitude, to just be happy and to remember why I love everyone in my family. I also wanted to make it a point to tell each one of them while I was at home why I loved them. It's amazing what can happen when you have a good attitude. Today was one of the best days that I have had in a long time. I had so much fun visiting with family and friends that I haven't seen in years! I was happy. Genuinely happy. I haven't felt like that in a long time. I had let my attitude, pride and selfishness get in the way of being happy. Today was a wonderful day. I guess I know what I need to keep praying for.
