Big Fat Liar

Yesterday Terina had to come home from Rainbow School because she had a snotty nose. Luckily, the teacher I was substituting for had 2 planning periods in the morning and I was able to pick up and run Terina home. A friend who lives above us said she would watch Terina while Kasala went to class and I ran back to school. When I came home Kasala said that Terina had been fevering since I brought her home so he didn't go to class. We stayed up all night with Terina trying to get her fever down. She didn't act like anything was wrong but her temp was up to 102-103 and we just wanted to make sure she was alright. Anyways... Terina and I went out today to get some birthday things for her party and for her friend Taylor's party on Tuesday. On the way home we got stuck in traffic in Haleiwa because people like to drive very very slow near Turtle Beach and it drives me crazy. Anyways, Terina starts to whine and tell me that she's cold. I can see her shivering and she's crying for her coat. I turned on the heater and since we're stuck in non moving traffic I was looking for her coat in the back of the car. Terina was giving me directions on where to move my hand and what to lift up and she kept pointing towards the back drivers side door. I finally gave up and told her I couldn't find it. I kept apologizing to Terina for not finding her coat and I told her I'd pull over and find something for her to keep warm. At this point the little terd starts to laugh and says, "Just kidding mom. I'm not sick. I'm funny." I was so mad! She's starting to lie at a very young age. This concerns me. :)
