Easter

So I know Easter was forever ago but I just never sat down to write about it. Plus, Kasala took the camera with him to Samoa so I don't have any pictures. We went to Gunstock Ranch for an Easter Egg hunt. When we pulled in I thought, there's not a lot of people here but that was only because I didn't look down the hill and over to the next little knoll before parking. That place was packed! They had over 6,000 real and plastic eggs. Terina, Tanaya, Makena and I made the trek through horse poop to the field that was filled with not only eggs but horse poop. A lot of horse poop. Anyways, the girls had fun. Terina found all real eggs... who knows how long they were out in that field. There was a petting zoo and both the girls went in and played with little goats and pigs. They wanted to ride the horses but the line was kind of long. Oh! The Easter Bunny was there too and he came riding down the hill on a horse. Terina thought that was just greatest thing in the world but she wouldn't go take a picture with him. Sunday was kind of a mess. Terina looked very pretty in her dress and she even let me do her hair. Church however was not cute. She ate 3 pieces of bread and took 2 cups of water... then had a meltdown but I couldn't leave cause I needed to be in primary so we battled it out in the hallway and outside the building. She didn't quite make it to nursery and sat with Makena in primary until singing time was over. Then we "talked" and she went to nursery. I felt so sad because she kept asking for her dad and he wasn't there. We made it through church and had a delicious chicken nugget dinner :)

Awww sorry about sunday.... if it happens again.. as much as we love you playing for us... just take the break and we'll sing acapella! I so dont like the easter egg hunt at Gunstock... But i love the petting zoo and free horse rides... after the first couple of years, weve learned just to skip the hunt and go for after activities!

I love your Thankfulness Column!
