I have been working with Terina on writing her letters, phonics and reading small 3 letter words. Its coming along... very slowly. So what if the letter "A" makes the sound of a "C"... she's learning. Well today there were a lot of people outside playing and with the playground right outside our front door its a little hard to ignore. Terina and I took the side walk chalk out and were drawing pictures and then she started to write her name. I was really excited and she wrote her name for the first time. I didn't help her either. Well... I did help her with the "I" because if I didn't it would have went on forever. I just helped her stop. And her "A" does look like an "H"... but she's only 3 so I don't feel bad. Now if she were 6 and they still looked like that we'd have a problem. But anyways, she did really well! I know she has written her letters for grandpa and grandma and they were pretty impressed. Anyways... she's learning so much and so fast. I hope she's a lot smarter than her parents.
