Lovely Hula Hands

Some friends told me about a Tahitian class that they were taking their little girls to and asked it Terina wanted to go. I had my doubts that she would actually go and do well but I decided that we'd give it a try. Besides the class is free right now so it's not like I'm losing a lot. She had her first class on Wednesday and of course we were late. But I put her in the room and stayed for a while... which I guess is the one thing the teacher doesn't want parents to do but whatever. She had a lot of fun. The only sad part was that I didn't take a "skirt" for her and she kept running over to me and asking, "Mommy, where's my skirt?" So we went out and bought her not 1, not 2, but 3 new "skirts" that are only hers to wear to her new dance class. We also went to PCC on Friday night and she got a pair of Poi Balls that she calls her boingy balls. She's learning.. slowly. It's funny cause when she hits herself she almost starts to cry! And... she's getting a little fire knife stick too because she always tries to take Kasala's and it's to heavy for her. Well... at least she'll get some culture while she's here! Now... if only I could figure out how to get the pictures off of my phone on to the computer...
