Mommy Rena Fun Day

Today I decided to keep Terina home for some quality time. I got up early to look at different things to do on the island besides the zoo. We have been to the zoo a couple times already. So I looked at Sea Life Park... and found out that everything she'd want to do there (swim with the animales) I couldn't afford. Then there's a Childrens Discovery Museum... it's only open from 9-1pm and it was getting close to 9am so I didn't know if I'd get my moneys worth. Pearl Ridge Mall has an insect thing going on and it had a train ride. That was free so of course we'll go there! Bishops Museum had a special today for only 5 bucks and they too had an insect thing going on. So off we went to the Museum and the Mall for bugs, lunch and shopping. **Blogger Police... please forgive me for all the pictures but we had a fun filled day and I wanted to share it :)** You walk in and are greeted by Dr. McFly. When you push a button he starts to talk. Right when we walked into the door Terina grabbed onto my leg and wouldn't let go. It took her quite a while to let go but we had to leave a come back TWICE to get pictures.

There was a huge butterfly, beetles, a wasp and a catipiller and Terina was deathly afraid of all of them. They also had little games, a coloring station and a matching thing where you could match up the body parts of the different bugs. . There was also a science museum where there was an erupting volcano, a place where you could see how wind and earth quakes move the water and how waves are made and stuff. She really liked it in there but there were so many summer school programs there today and all the older kids were kind of hogging all the cool stuff. At the mall we parked on top so that we could ride on the Monarail but first we went to return some shorts to Children's Place cause Terina butt is to big to fit in a 4. Anyways, they had a insect exhibit too along with a train ride! Here's the view from Children's Place on the 2nd floor. And here's Terina on the Train. She was super lucky and got ticket #1 so she rode in the front of the train. She really liked it and had a lot of fun.

But the best part of the whole day was when we were shopping at Children's Place. The music was jammin in there and I have never seen Terina dance like that before but she was going nuts! And I was able to shop for a good 40 mintues while she danced in the front of the store! I wish I took a video of it but I was focused on buying her clothes for the trip home. I had the best day with Terina and I'm so glad that we got to spend time together doing something fun. I can't wait to see what we do next week. Maybe we'll take a friend of hers along this time.... If I'm feeling risky
